Especially the ending. My Greatgrandfather killed himself in the Great Depression. My Grandfather used that as motivation and was a very successful businessman and my mom was raised fiscally smart. I have some of those traits and have been acused of being cheap. However, I still struggle with my businesses numbers. You have my Quickbooks financials from 2008 but we have yet to discuss them. In December I took a critical look at my business and cut out all of the items for which I had no return which will take some $20,000 in expense out of my P&L for 2009. My marketing is changing (for the better) using an organic integration of web 2.0 technologies. With zero cost involved I can already see increased traffic and interest surrounding my business in the last 3 weeks. To help others in the community, I have volunteered to teach Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University curriculum to anyone in the area who wants to come. We all have to get on the right track ASAP. P.S. Danny, my mom was born in November 1929. That said, I am just now getting my business financial information into QuickBooks. It will probably be a little ugly to look at the truth, but as someone once said, "the truth will make you free" - OR - as I like to say, "you can't get clean until you know where you're dirty".
