Hey Danny…the timing on this thought could not have been better. I am pretty new to the real estate business and have had some challenges and many times have thought about going back to the “safe” corporate 9-5 world. I attended Graig’s conference in November and decided to make a committment to the business and see where my efforts would take me. My efforts have begun to pay off..I have landed listings, aswell as buyers, just sold a listing for 102% of asking in just 1 day, and am confident that I have developed the skills to obtain more business than I can handle. However, I am still questioning and doubting myself and doubting weather I belong in this business.

Reading your blog has reminded me and made it clear that my doubts are a result of my inaccurate/ negative thinking and worry which are keeping me from following my path. I have almost finished reading Psycho-Cybernetics and am learning the power of positive thoughts, the power of a positive self image, ways to improve my self image, and the role they play in moving me towards my goals.

Thanks for the blog, and your insights in general.

As always, your thoughts inspire Danny. It is so easy to get caught up in the day to day activities of this business and never give yourself time to think about other things. My mother was, and is, a person of faith (as am I-although not as I should be) and she use to read the bible to me when I was a kid. She would always tell me something that has always given be an unbreakable amount of confidence in my ability to do things and inspiration. She would always say, "if you had the faith of a mustard seed you could move a mountain!" Sometimes, I think that this is what it is really all about. Responsibilty for your own actions and faith-however you define it. Doesn't really matter! I enjoy your thoughts on this blog! Right on, Danny! I was raised by parents who encouraged me and helped build my self esteem, but even after all that I often find myself worrying about what others think of me. You’ve inspired me (once again!) to just be me.

My self esteem/image has changed a great deal since I started the coaching program. The recommended books and the calls have caused me to examine why others opinion seemed so important. Sudendly I started to find that I am able to do many things that I had thought I couldn’t do. Psycho-Cybernetics has changed my outlook!!! I have read it twice. I wanted to be sure that I didn’t miss much. Changing outlook seems to change outcome!
