Hey Jackass, I thought you were calling me--I've heard it so often, and I don't make 7 figures! God knows what they will call me when I do. The good news is you get to pick your friends. You're lucky to have a hand full. The word "friends" has become distorted because of facebook. How many friends do you have? Hundreds? If you look to see who is shooting the arrows they are merely "acquaintances". Your mindset should be concerned friends, those few who really care about you. The rest are not important.

As we get more...and accomplish more...it's true we become full and less hungry... contentment sets in. Just think -- is that so bad?

JUST THINK those 2 words sound like an easy command but for some of us that's not easy. Today you said It's knowing what to ask ourselves. That hit home.

Moving forward is made easier now. YES but for me not until recently. I needed mentors and they are hard to find. I asked myself where are my new heroes. The coaching series 3-4 per week is defintely getting me to JUST THINK. THX

Danny,
I can tell you, I have an internal struggle. One side says, go for it ! be successful, don't settle for average! The other says, do you deserve it? Will people hate you, distance themselves from you? (like before).
I feel like it's a love hate relationship.

I recently attended a retreat where the major question was, "How much are you willing to give to life?". Your post really nails that sentiment. Thanks, as always. You really get it.

"Did they all burn the bridges behind themselves and go for what they wanted regardless of what anybody else said or thought, even in the face of the mental and physical beatings they suffered?"

I burned them and there were some big arrows. But I can out run them. and it's okay to want too. Thanks, Danny for reminding me that it's okay to listen to that inner voice. The same voice that made William Wallace, shout "FREEDOM!!!"

Danny - you always seem to know what is going on in my head. With so many distractions - TV, Twitter, Instant Information, many people don't know how to spend quiet time alone with their (our) own thoughts. I have recently started taking early morning and late night walks to just listen to the birds and the crickets. It can get eerie sometimes, but mostly, it allows my mind to wander. I've had some wonderful insights...and just getting away with my own thoughts entitles me to learn who I am and what the heck is important to me. Thanks, as always for your guidance.
(PS - BUD - loved the crab reference - I've never heard it, but will definitely use it.)

Danny,
Awesome, I will listen to this one over and over.
This MOJO reminds me of that old story of walking on an ocean beach, picking up crabs and putting them in a bucket. No cover is needed for the bucket, because if one crab trys to climb out, the other crabs grab on to it and pull it back down in to the bucket.
We all watch out for those crabs ("friends") in our lives.
