I don't always agree or disagree but sometimes it makes me make a change to my way of doing things. Because sometimes I learn something. As much as I can I want to hear and learn from the human experience. I have experiences to add and as Danny pointed out this week he heard from the human experience and what did it cost him to give in a little. I went through a year of coaching and it amazed me on how so few people got on the calls and listened. There are stories out there about people that Danny and others point out that can expand your life, and force you to look at it and take stock. It make a person's mind maybe consider something they normally wouldn't. How lucky are we that we can have this opportunity almost everyday in our business. I believe this to be so true. My wife needed a speaker for a Saturday Morning (early 8:00 a.m.) keynote speech to a bunch of Project Managers in a symposium here in Tampa. I immediately recommended someone who I know passes on that human experience just about better than anyone I have heard in my life. And to him I look forward to seeing him in a few weeks and imagine how lucky I will be to spend some time on a Friday and Saturday with one heck of a dynamo. When the people he will be talking to get to hear him, oh what a treat they will get. See you in a few weeks Danny. And also thanks for the weekly human experience stories. But I did try to tell her that as fiercly as I hated something, that was how fiercly I could love something also. I appreciate this article because all my life I have been encouraged to keep quiet and "be a lady", but I also see that opinions and the ability to listen create change, and in my world that has been a positive thing.
