You can look like a genius if you can conform to one. Do what they do- and have what they have.

The challenge is defining when to daydream and when to conform. As you mention - balance is key.

A roll on the rug from time to time will put things in a different perspective. You must know when it might just be better to put on a grin and trace the numbers.

My mother was a Headstart pre-school teacher of 3-4 year olds. She was dumfounded at how many of these little ones were "zombies" because their parents and the system didn't want to deal with a normal 3 year old's creative energies...and most of these familes were on government support.

I have a friend with a son in the same condition. When he was very young he could recite to you the names of dinosaurs and their genomes and their family and so on and so on. He went to school and was very disruptive. I told his parents he is bored out of his mind. They had him "tested" and gues what??? Another Frickin genius. They fought it throughout all his years in school and are still fighting it. He is very bright and very easy to get along with but he always wants to be challenged and to be doing something. I am with you... I think it is a good thing. A tough battle but a good thing. Great information as always.

Danny,
Spoken like a true Father and Coach who is running the race everyday and refuses to give up. Talk about hyperactivity, I was the one in class who was always free thinking and daydreaming, I was not medicated. The adverse happened for me, I was taught to release my energy through cooperative sports and in after school programs. I went on to play tennis in High School and in College. It caused a perfect balance with me. I had to learn to harness and disperse my energy toward the right tasks- whether it be math, science, or the court, I was taught instead of medicated. I see this same thing happen to agents, they get caught with all the answers and have the road mapped out, but are hesitant to move forward. Was it because they were not allowed "free thinking" Were they Labeled ADHD, and afraid to act. Great Point my MAN!! ENJOYED YOUR MOJO!!!!!!
